Twitter, along with RIM (the makers of the BlackBerry smartphone) and Facebook will be sending representatives to meet the UK Home Secretary after being called in to discuss their roles in the riots taking place across the UK.

Many people think this is unfair towards these companies as they are ‘only the messenger’ and therefore cannot be blamed for taking a role in the rioting.
