Vodafone has opened the book on the HTC Desire S It’s now taking orders to bag yourself a free Desire S on a two-year contract, as well as revealing exclusive colours for the HTC Wildfire S and Google Nexus S
The Desire S packs a 3.7-inch touchscreen and 5-megapixel camera. It boasts touch-sensitive buttons and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread with the HTC Sense interface dolloped on top.
The Desire S is free on call plans costing from £30 per month for two years, or costs £100 on a £25 per month tariff. All the contracts last two years. If you pay the ton up front for the cheaper tariff rather than the free one, you’ll save yourself £20 over the two years. Even better, sign up to a 12-month contract, pay £160 up front and you’ll pay a total of £580, a big saving over the two-year contracts.
Vodafone is also offering a white version of the Nexus S, the second phone to be crafted by Google. The Nexus S won a highly coveted CNET UK Editors’ Choice Award with its large screen and 1GHz processor. You’ll need to drop £35 per month to pick up a free Nexus S, but paying £200 up front for the £25 contract will save you £40 over two years.
